Yada Onsen - Shirasagi-so

Last Update:2008/4/1

According to legends in the past, it is told that a villager witnessed a shirasagi (egret / a type of white heron) soak its injured leg into an onsen (hot spring) and then strongly fly off. This onsen was soon used by the villagers and was come to be known as the Shirasagi hot spring.
The nature of this hot spring is hypotonic, mildly acidic, and with low mineral content. The benefits of this hot spring are thought to help the mucous membrane of the stomach, improve one's skin, and leave one's skin feeling silky smooth.
