Himesayuri Path

Last Update:2008/4/1

Beautiful Himesayuri (star lilies, princess lilies) can be seen on this trail from spring to early summer. The path leads to the Takajo Castle Ruins which can be walked in about 1 hour. A simple hike that doesn't require much planning, and with plenty of scenic viewing spots. Hikers can also follow the path to Mt. Hakamakoshi-yama and the summit of Yagigahana, and end up by the Yagigahana Onsen for relaxing spa.

For more related information, please refer to the Takajo Himesayuri Festival in the events section.

Access: Vehicle:  Approximately a 40min drive from the Sanjo-Tsubame Inter-Change (Hokuriku Expressway) down the National Route 289.
